FAQ

Do you offer engagement photography?

We certainly do. It’s a great way to get relaxed with both the photographer and the camera. Some couples likes these photos to use for invites or for their signing board photo. It’s also good fun!

Do you visit the wedding venue ahead of the ceremony?

Yes. We do our best to visit the venue in advance of your wedding day. This allows us to look out for nice locations and get a feel for the light! If possible we like to meet the official taking the ceremony. This helps to ensure we know what they allow and helps the day run smoothly. Where possible we like to attend the wedding rehearsal. Of course, its quite likely we have already photographed at the venue!

Do you have professional photographers insurance?

Yes we do. We have public liability insurance to £2,000,000.

Do you have backup equipment?

Absolutely. We each have a backup camera to our main camera as well as an array of lenses and memory cards. All our equipment comes with us on a wedding day for security.

Who will photograph my wedding?

All our full packages include two photographers. Smaller packages may involve just one of us. We are both experienced at photographing weddings alone.

Can our family and friends buy albums or prints?

Yes, of course. We put your photographs into an online password protected gallery for proofing and ordering.

Do you photograph Civil Partnerships?

Yes. We would love to share your special day!

How do we book you?

We are always keen to meet clients before securing a booking. It’s important for you to not only see our wedding books and products, but also to meet Simon. Selecting your wedding photographer is a very important decision. Simon is always keen to let you view our sample books and answer any questions you are bound to have.

You can reserve your day with a £150 deposit. The balance will become due four weeks before your wedding day.

To arrange a no obligation meeting either phone us on 01270 581315 or email us at weddings@sjnphoto.co.uk

Do you travel to locations beyond the North West?

We do. Obviously travel and accommodation costs will need to be taken into account.

We’re getting married overseas. Would you be able to travel to photograph our wedding?

Yes. Again travel and accommodation costs will need to be added.
